Title: my mrs's mk5 fsi with gti bits

eyup guys, brand new to the forum, been a vw owner for the last 5 years or so, currently got a mk4 gti 1.8t and a vw bora tdi, and just finished the mrs's mk5 1.6 fsi, she wanted a gti but the insurance was a joke as shes only 21, so i told her id make her 1.6 as nice as possible for her, what do you guys think, ?? gti front bumper(minus gti badge) :grin:, gti rear valance colour coded, gti side skirts, cupra r front splitter, carbon grill cover, carbon wing mirror covers, carbon door pillar covers, bbs ch repl whells in grey 18", lowered 35mm, calipers painted red,door handles and door rubbing strips colour coded also,yellow front fogs,smoked mirror indicators and euro plates btw jus realised i need help uploading pics lol

Saw this in meadowhall underground carpark on tuesday looks well, my jetta was afew space up from it  :happy2:

lol eyup buddy, yep should look more like a gti once those front brakes are on buddy,gonna get em on soon as they turn up dude, want to change the steering wheel as its got one of the horrible 4spoke s on there, got to be one of the most ugly wheels ever made, how easy are they to change??

looks kewl that matey,love the wheels and drop,
not gunna go overboard on it as its only for the mrs, perhaps lightly tint the rear windows, r32 rear lights, then a different steering wheel, im saving up for an edition 30 myself, hopefully have 1 just after xmas :happy2:

its hiding lol, stillgot the std 1.6fsi pipe on there, dont want it to be loud cus itll wake the little man up lol, does want something in there tho lol

thanks mate,yep there on my list buddy after ive fitted the gti 312 front brakes next week, want  apair of black gti headlights also i think and some open foglight grills or may just dremmel the originals??

ok so got my gti front discs and calipers from romocop yest and tried to fit them, but turns out its not as straight forward as i 1st thought, looks like im going to need, gti front hubs, wheel bearings, drive shafts and front suspension legs :confused:

I'n not sure about driveshaft but it's correct the rest needs replacing when upgrading a 1,6 FSI having the smallest brake setup where the carrier is integrated in the hub.
