Title: What colour wheels ?
Post by: Carrera2RS on October 01, 2011, 11:46:04 am
I was wondering if I should refinish my wheels in matt or another colour ?

Any suggestions

^ Looks good as is TBQH.

IMO gunmetal grey would work on black bodywork too.

I like them as the are. In an ideal world I'd want my car to look like yours. :-)

Gold.  :happy2:

Have you seen Brimma's chariot?

I would go with anthracite on black, but I'm biased......

Im going against the grain here...

Not sure if it will work, going to photoshop it first. Currently have a Black 5 door GTi. Going to be wrapping the back badge inserts black and the VW sign Neon Green, with the Lipstick line and both front and rear GTI badges green too...

Now for the wheels was thinking of getting them Gloss Black but the inserts of the wheels green along with Green Calipers.

I am one that LOVES the original Red/Black colour scheme that the GTi has going on but I still think this would look alot different especially as there are not many other GTi owners in Edinburgh who have changed alot to their car!

I am looking at either having them refinished in satin black or buying a second pair and selling these.

Any ideas what they might fetch, refurbishing from Ream Dynamics to change the colour will be £50 per wheel and I can't use my old wheels as they don't fit over VWR brakes in the meantime.

Anyone interested at £380-400 ? A new set in satin/matt is £600ish
