Title: New member in Ayrshire... (finally got my GTI)
Post by: brady88 on October 02, 2011, 03:05:14 pm
Hi all  :drinking:

Just thought I would join up early and say hello before I FINALLY purchase a mk5 GTI. This is probably as good a place as any to find a good one for sale as well  :driver:
Had a few VW's in the past most recently with a mk2 GTI so I'm no stranger to the VAG world... just finding my way back in lol

Currently driving a Fiesta ST which is up for sale to help fund the GTI but as some of you probably know its near impossible to sell a car just now! So if anyone is interested in a p/x + cash let me know  :happy2:  its one of the tidiest ones you will see on the road as Bennet vrs will testify  :jumpmove:
Hope to meet some of you soon... and in a Golf haha!

I'm interested in who "big d" is??? My guess is it is not big d, 200sx big d has a mk4 gti and not a mk5 gti? I might be wrong. Stevie.

Finally got mine sold  :jumpmove:

A guy from Preston came up for it last night about 9pm...in the dark...in the rain and bought it within 10 minutes!
Not at all how I would go about buying a car but he was obviously determined it was the car for him!

Now the GTI hunt begins

XR2 Crazy: Sorry mate...I'm looking for something under 50k miles and preferably tornado red, no matter what the price that wont change. Nice car all the same and GLWS!

Nope...not me mate, never had it at crail!  :signLOL:  was going to last month but thought it would be best to have rubber left when selling it!

Although a can tell the guy that bought it will treat it like every journey is on the quarter mile strip
