Call me sad, but do you still take a look over your shoulder and have a glimpse at the motor and get that warm chuffed feeling before walking away? :ashamed:

Me too. I have to have a last look out the window every night before going off to bed to make sure she's ok. :ashamed: (sad?) :signLOL:

Never had it when walking away but definitely when walking towards, especially if looking at the front end of the car.
-

Well the last few weeks while the cars been poorly I've been checking every website trying to find something to trade it in for, even went to view another R32 @Peter Cooper Hedge End...(luckily it was in a shocking state!)
But now's she running sweet again, there's nothing (of this price, practicality, mpg) i wiould change for! Fell in love all over again and wanting to mod it further...

Well your all losers! :P
I never enjoy a little random drive out in the car or look back at my car when walking away  :signLOL:

So frustrated with mine ATM bloody coughing and spluttering, doesn't stop me looking out the hall window goin up the stairs and looking down on my shiny roof from the landing though lol :ashamed:
-
Ahhh, yes, I do this too - most embarrassing is when I'm with a bunch of people (like at work) and I'm like "ahhh, look how beautiful my car is!" - everytime!! Haha

The first thing I do when I get up each day is look out the window to see if it's still there
-
.
Absolutely! I turn and admire mine every single time, even after 6 years! It's like walking past a pretty girl in the street and turning to admire her. It's in the genes. I love eye-candy and am not ashamed of it!

I went to collect my friends Fiesta from the dealer the other day, my wife drove my Cupra back.
In the rear view / wing mirrors my Cupra looks AWESOME on the move   Looked moody & evil!
Had to concentrate on paying more attention to what was happening around me and not look at my car.
You rarely get to see you own car from the outside on the move, love seeing mine

Very true but I get nervous if someone else drives my car

Agreed, its good watching your own car drive along.
-
I do the same! :pomppomp:
-
Yeah of course! Especially when you work so hard to maintain and run it! :happy2:
-
Well I am not alone then,
Every night, have to check if she is (car) Ok before I go to bed, would get up few times on night time and give quick look.
Does anyone talk to car? I do talk to her sometimes when she puts smile on my face :pomppomp: :rolleye:

I fell in love with the Mk5 when I first saw it in 2005. Finally got ‘mine’ last year and I just can’t help but check her out when ever I get the chance

Both are true. I was driving past a mirrored building a few months ago and was admiring the reflection. Also let my friend have a test drive a while ago and surprisingly I was actually pretty nervous.

A good performance car is much more than just a machine isn't she/he, guys :happy2:
That's partly why I like to hear the engine/exhaust all the time while I'm driving - It brings her to life. A nice taut and tactile ride is good too - I've always preferred slim to chubby.
