Happy Birthday Mikey
Mats and Flocking.
Planks of wood were originally invented for cars to drive onto, to allow normal jacks to be used. That is a fact.
Give us a text when your back and we'll have to have a catch up. :happy2:

top has to be the dash flocking, I saw that pic of your satnav and what looks like tape holding the AC panel in place :scared:
And as Keano says there are always ways around low profile trolley jacks, planks of wood yellow pages those sorts of things :ashamed: I find if you use a kerb and 2 to 3 of the new thin yellow pages you dont need a jack at all to get under the car

Adapt and overcome eh? Lol I like it. What's the safe working load of a yellow pages these days :scared: haha
Can't wait to get the dash done, I should've made this a poll lol

They seemed to cope well with one rear wheel axle loading, after all its just a slightly modified piece of wood  I wasnt doing anything too drastic just needed to get under-neath to sort out rear axle cover that and the kerb with my lofty suspension gave me plenty of space to tinker.

Ah got ya.
My sump plug took some persuasion last time so I'd best stick to axle stands lol

You never know you just may get the best birthday present ever, a health baby :pomppomp: if your wife goes into labour early
Just think.... you wont ever celebrate a birthday again, yours will be forgotten forever as you slip down the pecking order

Feel for you mate, so frustrating.
Paid for flocking for birthday, was going to order a jack but need xenon bulbs now, paid for Sirrocco bumpers to complete my boot pop mod.
Fingers and toes are crossed for injector fixing the missfire on monday but tbh I wouldnt be the slightest bit suprised if it makes little / no difference.
-
liking the idea of the dash board--thats what puts me of xenons is the price and replaced of the bulbs--hope its some thing simple with the misfire

I think for it to look right I need to send the pillars and heater rings off too, should look good
The bulbs by the looks of things are £25 - £35 so after 3years of use its not too bad, admittedly I have my dipped beam on alot of the time so theyve had some use.
-
a lot cheaper than i thought to replace them..think i will after to get some now :signLOL:
