Just wondering for people out there who are running 350bhp+ what they have done to the fuel system if anything and if anyone has had any issues.
I saw APR are doing a uprated pump but it seems a lot of money
-
you need an uprated pump or uprated pump internals also and rs4 fuel valve 2 maintain fuel pressure :happy2:
-
:ashamed: Dont forget to keep an eye on your Cam Follower :ashamed:

Im about to fit the RS4 valve but it looks a bitch!!!

iirc TrickGTI is VW trained and did a little write up on how he did his.

Kevin @ KPM said the APR pumps are hard to find at the moment, he got the last one for me from JKM, he is also putting in a RS4 valve as I didnt have one before just Autotech internals, he may have some more elbow room though :happy2:

Apparently there is a long back order for oem hpfp in the US atm hence APR aren't able to source a supply for building their uprated new ones.

Serious? I've searched high and low for a how to guide!!! Is it on this site? Cheers buddy!!

Mine is all done, just got to pick it up, should be interesting to see if you notice the difference.

I was just reading up on these APR pumps, lot of money but this maybe what I need. My car has been stuttering and kangarroing badly but typically VW cant find nothing wrong with it so I am booked in with JKM in a few weeks time. I noticed when the tank is half full or full its not too bad, if I run it low so about 50 miles to fill up its horrendous, the stuttering is bonkers. I have had new divertor valve, spark plugs and coil packs in last 4 months so I was thinking it maybe fuel starvation ? Could this be the problem does anyone think ?

Which battery Neil? My guess is the carbon Braille?
On the topic of uprated fuel systems, there is an uprated low pressure, intank fuel pump.

Could be an overheating low pressure fuel pump that's in the tank. The fuller tank may be masking the issue by keeping the pump cool.
That being said, have you changed your fuel filter recently?
