Title: Hello, new member with a TDI (pic heavy)

On my hunt for a decent MK5 Golf forum for UK members i managed to find this one and am very please. looks great  :happy2:

Picked up this Mk5 GT TDI 140 on saturday and love it.
below are photos taken from dealership website. (make the cars paint look flat)

thankfully the dealership selling it didnt know what they had, and listed the car as standard spec and stated it had "solid" paint and didnt specify its service history

took it for a test drive and it felt solid and looks much better in the flesh.

so its now mine  :jumping:

first order of priority for it when i got it home is the start of a long process of full paint correction. (as its lived in car washes)

its official colour is VW Laser Blue, it comes with auto lights and wipers and full VW service history. (with cambelt and water pump done)

oh and now about me,

Welcome! Nice colour man! I've got auto wipers and lights in mine! It's bliss!! :grin:

am currently on the look out for some new wheels, quiet like the look of Monza's but finding them without having to sell an arm is hard.

after wheels i will look at coilovers to improve the stance/look and possibly a facelift bumper

Im thinking the same for mine mate! But with the R32 alloys instead

i really want monzas for mine, but dont want it to look like a gti
