Title: Another paint warranty thread

I have taken my car to VW for rust on the front arches, they are claiming for both arches but when I asked about blending they said warranty wont pay for that just the panel to be painted, is this right?!?

That sounds right to me, they will blow it in though so it matches  :happy2:

Isn't blending in and blowing in the same thing?

Yes, that's right. Same thing happened when my arches were done except they didn't tell me this at the time. The new paint therfore had a different pearl effect to the other panels !  (Laser blue pearl)
I complained and managed to get 50% off a bonnet and bumper re-spray complete with blending into the 'A' pillars
I'm happy now apart from the rear tailgate badge which they refused to do !

I don't get why they will do some and not others. Vw Cambridge refused to even put a claim in for mine!!
