Hi guys, yesterday I got a bulb defect warning. When I checked one of my sidelights was out. This morning on my way to work the warning light went out and was replaced with the exhaust system warning light (constantly on). The bulb has indeed started to work again, but the exhaust system warning light is still on. The car feels absolutely perfect, both in normal driving and under hard load.
I was wondering if there was anything I could test before taking it to the garage? The coil packs were replaced recently so I can't think it would be them. I have read about detaching the MAF sensor and going for a drive, or is that for something else?

Do you not have a vcds cable?

I do not unfortunately, nor a PC to run VCDS on.
I have been changing around between 95 and 99 RON recently so perhaps that has had some effect.

Perhaps but without a scan it'll all be speculation.

Cheers for the offer mate - I might take you up on that. Would VCDS diagnose the exact fault?

Really appreciate your help :drinking:
