Title: i pod help

Thinking of getting one for my wife for xmas.

As i am still a vinyl and cd man dont know much about them.

what is the difference between the different models? and where would be best place to buy one - amazon?

Apple have a stronghold on their products so if you have an Apple store locally you might as well get it off them. it won't be cheaper to get it anywhere else unless someone has an offer or you're going 2nd hand.

they have all the models in store and they'll be able to demonstrate the differences and give you the best option for your requirements.

cheers, well ideally i would like it to be compatible with the rns 510 as might get it all set up with armrest etc then and i wonr have a glovebox full of cd's  :evilgrin: apart from that i dont know what i want!

ummm, i guess between £100-150, so does that price me out of a lot of the newer ones?

My daughter got an iPod Touch free when I bought her the MacBook Pro. But that's a very expensive way of buying an iPod!
