Title: AG Alloy Protector
Post by: pitch3110 on April 04, 2009, 09:04:37 pm
I have used this product on the 5-Arms on my S-line A4 for 2/3 years & the finsih on the wheels is amazing.

I have started to use it on the wifes ED30 wheels & results are the same.

It sheds brake dust & the wheels clean up v. easy.

I will post some pic's tomorrow, but well worth a tru IMO. :happy2:

very nice mate.

Is it just a case of apply and wipe off or is there elbow grease involved?

They look great  :happy2:

Do you have to take the wheels off to get the inside clean?

I haven't yet.......
I normally take the wheels off the A4 in the spring & end of the summer for a big de-tar & dust. Takes me the best part of 3 hours. For a car coming upto 3 years old they are virtually as clear as new.

Having said that there is more 'gap' than spoke so I always clear inside with a mit every wash.

The Ed30 had had alot of TLC from the previous owner because the inside of the wheels are like new (all bar a bit of tar)

When I wash I have a long wolley brush that works a treat in the nook & crany's, but I only picked up the car for the wife 6 weeks ago so still finding my way round it with regards to detailing.

Hence trying the Clearcote on it today.

cheers chaps..... :happy2:

correction....wheel looks brand new..... the other 3 were 6 weeks ago until wifey took ownership.

still with some good investigation work by Cossy, it seems we have a good paint match for the finish, so in the coming weeks a re-furb project will take place on the 3 small (& they are in all honesty) wheel rim repairs.
