Not really but it sounds like it's for the auxillary heater that comes with some diesel models to pre-heat the car.

it can be difficult to find out what each fuse does as it is dependent on Engine, Year, gearbox and additional equipment.

Have aux heater thing, just waiting for VW UK to get back wiith all the details - and 'operating' manual

Johnny when your next near your car have a look behind the passenger side fog grille there should be a aux heater inlet plug?? If you have the aux heater button on your climate panel then it should have the plug at the front, you should also have a small remote for the heater.

Last owner 'Co*k' can't find the bloody remote!

Have the aux button.......will pop the grill off tomorrow have a look.
