Title: folding wing mirrors

Can folding wing mirrors be retro fitted?

If so does anyone know how much it would cost?

Post by: TomB on April 05, 2009, 10:17:00 pm: I don't know if its the same on MK5 Golfs, but on Polos and Ibizas the control unit is housed in the elec window motor. It would be worth looking into this, as VWs are getting tougher to modify!

Surely 4-5 centimetres? With millimetres, VW should never have even bothered.

lol, you are correct, it is cm and not mm as I stated.

did you try a search, there has been one or two posts, nobody has done it yet though
