hi people
so ive just polished and waxed my car for the first time every :jumpmove: ready for winter. now i hear peeps adding 3 or 4 layers of wax to really protect the car.
now my question is: is this process repeated 1 after the other, or can the wax be applied fru the week?
ive been using the auto glym high definition wax set, which i love, really easy to apply and the end result is spot on
thanks in advance

For maintenance, just wash the car weekly and apply a top up of wax every 4 weeks or so. I tend to look at sheeting and when it retains more water, rather than rely on beading but if either starts to go off, I top up the wax.
More than two or three layers is OTT IMO. I'd leave at least 48 hours between coats.

Sorry for butting in with slightly different question on this topic. I washed and flayed car today but started to rain so couldn't do super resin polish and wax. Can I just do this tomorrow.

Give it another rinse/wash in the morning and away you go....

+1. You want to make sure there's no dust that's settled on the car overnight. TBH at the very least I'd give it a snow foam and rinse.

Will do. Cheers. Wouldn't want to undo all my good work ;-)
