Title: Pirelli No. 5...
Post by: M1K VW on April 06, 2009, 09:31:46 pm
Evening all! Thought I'd say hello. I dared to be different & got hold of a new Pirelli a week ago and loving it. Next week my plate (M1K VW) will be going on and once I've covered a few more miles I'll be sorting a re-map and coilovers and maybe a few more bits & bats along the way...

Hopefully I've got the photo links to work below:

Gareth's silver Corrado?? Sweet car - I bought the black centred 17" RS001's off that from him a couple of years back. Good plan, the Ed 30 is a great car with even greater potential!

Thats the one. I had it for 2 years. Gareth bought it back last Friday. Awesome car but too clean to be taking out in the winter etc.

I can imagine, I know he had it mint, you could eat your dinner off his garage floor. I got the BBS's from him to go on a white Corrado VR6 I had, but I sold them to a mate of his and then the 'rado to help fund a white Mk 5 GTI. But I'm over my white phase now  8)  Good luck with the Ed30 search!

welcome the the madhouse  :happy2:
Car looks amazing, personally I would choose the Pirelli over my ED30 were I to have the choice again. I love the seats and yellow really raises the feel of the cabin.
Enjoy

Welcome No 5

Black Pirelli's seem to be the rage  :happy2:

Had mine 2 weeks now (including a remap) having traded in a Mk2 TT and just loving it. What else do you need in a car.

As good as the photos are, the Pirelli just looks so much more muscular in the flesh. The ride height is also exagerated in the photos. I was blown away when I saw mine in the flesh for the first time

welcome brother, its almost as good as mine!  :happy2:

when you get the coilovers, be interesting to see how it sits, with the pirelli alloys, plenty of people have the monzas but not many a a lowered pirelli!

keep us posted!
