Title: Gti disc size??

Hi just a quick one what size is standard gti rear brake discs ?? And why are mk4 gti rears vented and my mk5 gti arnt ??

Rears are/were 286mm originally but the dealers now supply 282mm due to issues with pad noise on the 286 version apparently  :smiley:

As for them being solid instead of vented it'll be down to cost savings and/or the fact they thought it didn't need them..
