Title: RNS 510 Not working???? VW warranty wont sort it!!

Hey Guys...

Basically my RNS510 has broken...the display has stopped working..It's just blank....The touch screen still works..but it's blank?? VW wont touch it under warranty as it was retro fitted not done in the factory apparently?? even though it was in it when I bought it??


Any ideas guys??

If it was fitted at the factory, comes under standard warranty. If fitted by the dealer, should come under dealer warranty. If VW approved, should come with whatever warranty they offer but will be limited.

You can always replace the entire thing for £400 or so. As above, a few people have managed to disassmble the RNS. You say the screen is blank but the touch screen works? What do you mean by this? Are the buttons up and responding to the presses? Is it just the map what's blank? Please elaborate.

Press it you can here the beeps etc but still no display?

How much would a version c cost if this one doesn't work?
