Post by: Oli on October 26, 2011, 05:32:02 pm
Ive just had the wheels refurbed on my 'wifes' Edition 30, and they dont look the right colour to me, what do you think??

And does anyone know the colour code for them.

Its impossible to get them right colour after refurb, mine were done on my Ed30 just before i bought it and they are more like a steel grey colour now (which i quite like lol).
Yours look a little light coloured to me?

Agree with tami they look to light in colour to be the original shade, think there are threads on here about this problem, worth a search to see if somebody managed it in the end  :happy2:

Hi Oli,

The guy at Crawley Wheel Works (Roger) he knows the colour I think its some VW titanium colour he did my set but one shade darker as i wanted them that way .I also understand lepsons  can do them.

Yes your set do look a bit silver but to be honest the finish looks good ,run them for a while and then just change them to the titanium finish

So whats the spec on the ED30 ? .

Didn't someone on here say it was because of the lacquer which had a slight (purple?) tint to it?
