Im looking to change my seats in my golf i was just wondering if anyone knew what seats fitted out off other cars without modification thanks
-
Fronts:
VW Golf Mk6
VW Scirocco
Audi A3 (8P)
Audi A4 (B8)
Audi A5
Audi TT (8J)
Audi R8
I think B7 A4 seats might be a straight swap as well.
Bear in mind that for any of those options the airbag will most likely not be suitable, so none of the options will fit "without modification"
Finally, I'm led to believe the rears for the Audi A3 and Golf are completely interchangeable.
Best of luck. What did you have in mind?

I just wanted something diffrent mate

B7 Rs4 recaro buckets are what you want but your looking at £1500+
-
Lol super rare tho.
And worse if you have a 3rd because you need to look for seats from a cabriolet, which are even rarer.
There was a set of R8s on the 'Bay not that long ago. £3k tho

Very true about the cabriolet part, the regular 5 door ones are easy enough to find though, a couple of sets are for sale on Edition 38 and I know of another set for sale at £1500 :happy2:

for £1500 you should buy them yourself and flog them for £2k on audi-sport
you'd definitely get that much for 'em

The problem is they are based in Manchester and I'm from Surrey, I was tempted to switch them for my factory Gti recaros but had second thoughts as I have enough on my plate at the moment with the car.
How about you buy them, sell them for £2000 and give me a 20% finders fee

Recaro Profi SPA, 4Kg of awesomeness. Can't see it happening any time soon though unless I win the lottery lol

Your certainly not kidding about needing a lottery win to afford a pair of them

Do they still make the Recaro A8 seats they where awesome perches and would love to get my hands on some and trim them in the GTD material

no i don't think they do. i looked into it about 6 months ago when i saw a Mk4 with the in PVW. tbh i prefer the VAG Recaros
the best ones now are Sportster CSs. (i think they're the same as the Focus RS seats.)
-
I know where there's a set of GTI buckets, same as the R buckets but have the GTI logo in the headrest. RARE AS, if i had 2k id be buying them and re-trimming in half edition check

Hi,
just bumping this to ask as i might look at changing to some RS4 seats soon. Whats the issue if the seats are from a 3 door Audi and going into a 3 door Golf??..will they not fold enough to have access to the rear?
Lol super rare tho.

If they are a 3 door version that you are ok. They dont tilt and slide forwards like the normal golf ones. You have to slide them on the normal runners then just fold them forwards
