Post by: Gazzgti on October 29, 2011, 09:50:16 am
I have just purchased a k + n typhoon kit. Do I book in at r-tech for stage one or wait buy a sports cat and go straight to stage two.

Am sure you need more hardware b4 you go into stage 2, i talked to amd they said even front mount intercooler

nope stage 2 only requires a down pipe, no other mods. You would get a better stage 2 result if you had more hardware but its not needed for the fuel/boost/timing

Its when you go beyond that you require more. a FMIC is recommended on stage 2+ but again not needed.

Im from birmingham mate, i got same induction kit and i got longlife by moor street to do me 3" downpipe and 2.5" decat for £150 fitted. Then went stage 2. Cant say i can compare it to stage 1 but trust me you will love the car.  :happy2:
