Hi all,
I have just wacked my GTI on AP Coilovers today and have been out tonight and have noticed my lights are having a hissy fit. When I drive along they keep adjusting up and down and its really quite annoying. They are auto xenons with auto adjust
Anybody heard of this before? Maybe they need to be reset somehow?
All help appreciated
Cheers!

Hi, you will need your self leveling headlights basic settings reset, anyone with vagcom could do it.

Sorry to go off topic a little.
How are you finding the AP's so far? Im looking to get a set after christmas so want to see how others are finding them
Thanks

I find the very good mate. Not uncomfortable and handle well. Just need to sort ma lights lol. That's the annoying thing

Ok so i remembered that we are VAG approved at work and that we have a "VAS 6150" machine which is our diagnostics. I assume this is the same thing as VCDS. but it says that the auto adjusters are fine. Is there some kind of kind of code i need to put in?
The lights are really getting on my t*ts now as they keep bouncing up and down...(my lights that is... i dont have t*ts :signLOL:)

and the vortex thread is good!
if you have no errors though i would think all is well??

i have just read through both threads and it seems that they have different symptoms as it were to me. By the sounds of it their lights are constantly facing down. Mine do level up into correct position but if i hit a bumpy patch or go round a corner they go up and and down... until i get on to a smooth, flat road again for them to level back to normal position. i am going to jack the car up and check to see if the sensors are in correct position but it seems like im having a different problem to these guys...
There must be someone here who has also lowered their car all they way down on AP's with xenons...

remember that when you lower the car the "correct" level for stock suspension is no longer correct. you need to recalibrate the levels for your new lowered car. the fact that you're on APs is of little consequence.

Yes but I mean surely somebody has had the same problem? by using same coilovers?..
