Title: A premature hello!

Hi All,

Bit of a premature hello.. Should probably wait until I actually have a mk5 before I say hi, but I was hoping someone would be able to help me out finding one!

Total newbie to Golfs, current daily is a '78 bug.. so after a bit of a power upgrade ;)

I'm looking for a 2.0 tdi.. Probably around 2004 age, and for under £4000..

Any one able to give me any pointers of what to look out for, typical problems with mk5s etc that I can look out for? From what I've seen having a nose around the forum, the turbos have a habit of giving out? And radiators too?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, and if you could point me in the direction of a mk5 up for sale that'd be superb! So I can say a proper hello  :drinking:

the early ones had
turbo failure
abs pump failure
pouruse cylinder heads
