Title: BBS Rim Protectors?

I assume they are some kind of push on device?

Post by: Hurdy on April 08, 2009, 03:07:46 pm: I can only really confirm that the rim protectors are available on 19". I've not seen any on 18" CH's and the only other vAariant I've seen on the 18's is black with a painted red lip and black with a silver cut lip.

I would have thought that they would be reasonably easy to take off once the tyres are off though.

ok, just wondered as theyt must be secured on by some sort of bolting system i would have thought

I asked a while ago in prep if I get mine done in shadown chrome - the protectors are about Ã‚Â£40 each (19" version)

it's amazing nobody knows how they come off LOL, perhaps I should pm philip who sells them and see if he knows

He could at least tell you how they were fixed and removed. Not sure if he's a member on here but is/was often over on golfgti and uk-mkv's
