Hi all
I have a Mk5 GT FSi 2.0 at present and would love a GTi. I was "window shopping" the other day and noticed that the GTi has a lower CO2, therefore making tax cheaper and the MPG is better (on paper!) compared to my GT FSi.
Is this really right? Could I be better off with a GTi?
Also what extras came with GTis? Obviously there is the leather and Sat Nav, but what about things like bluetooth, iPod connection etc?
Cheers
Lx

The MK5 GTI is £240 a year to tax, whereas the MK6 GTI with the TSI engine is only £190 :indifferent:

Yeah whats annoying tho is my Ed30 is £245 a year to tax and my uncle pays £50 less than me for his old Bentley Turbo R (6.75L V8) which must be around 350-400 on the old CO2, its wrong!!

Couldnt agree more. My first scooby was £180 for 6 months and then my last Scooby (same engine etc) was £400 a year!! All because the cars were registered at different times!

My Porsche is £460 if it makes you feel better?

Out of curiosity what do you average mpg wise........if yours is a 2.0 petrol! Wouldnt mind knowing how much of a differance this nox sensor i have out is making that much of a differance to warrant the £400 on a new one! :ashamed:
