The law is changing about the percentage of ethanol that will be in unleaded (95 octane) as from next year - A DfT statement said the use of E10 shouldn’t affect the operation of modern cars “with the exception of direct-injection vehicles”.

I just read this as well
I think that they will have to keep the regular fuel as well, considering the number of cars jumping on the direct injection wagon!
-
It says premium unleaded will keep 5% ethanol until 2013. So what happens after that, will that go up to 10% as well??
-
I would assume so mate! Doesn't bode well huh?

E10 or Vpower racing 100Ron over here , aral (Bp) have E10, 98 and 102.

Tesco 99 Ron or Shell Vpower 98 Ron (Some claim 99, but im sure its 98 or it used to be anyway), i have an Ed30 and it runs Super Unleaded anyway 98 or 99 so makes no difference to me for another year, plus i only do about 3.5k to 4k per year, can use the family smoker for long journeys

i always use either momentum of vpowe anyway, but what are we going to use in 2013

Millers octane booster?

If I read it in EVO I would be worried but not the daily mail of the motoring press but after 2013 it looks like I am putting any old fuel in!

How can they do something like that? How many cars will it affect after 2013 ??
