I removed the footwell lights yesterday (what a pain) as i was going to replace the bulbs with leds to match all the other interior bulbs i've fitted.
Upon removal it looks like the bulbs can't be taken out as the units are enclosed?
I thought they would be the same as the boot units?
Do i have to replace the full units?

Just take the metal shroud off the plastic light unit, I think they are small festoon bulbs???

They're 501 w5w's. As above you can bend the tabs out to change the bulb
-
As above not changed mine so just presumed but at least you know they come out and what they are now :happy2:

It's one of those things thats easy to do the second time but you have to take your time with the first attempt.

Thanks for the info i`m going to do mine tomorrow now.
Had the lights out at the weekend and refitted them cos I thought you needed to replace the whole unit!!!

Are these linked to the canbus?
