I have fitted my Dogbone mount, and re-used the old bolt. Looking at it, and using my engineering experience, I don't believe it to be a stretch bolt.
One thing that does concern me, is the length of the bolt is not enough, given the extra thickness of the DB bush, and the large washer.
Can someone look at ekta for me, and perhaps post up a pic of the bush assembly, and bolt part number. In the spec it may give the bolt length, thread size and pitch. I could do this at home, but it would mean getting under and removing the bolt agian.
I am going to look into getting a proper High tensile steel bolt, the correct length.
Cheers in advance.

I remember when I fitted the ECS bush, the bolt supplied had a higher tensile strength than the original, its stamped on the head, so maybe worth looking at that as well.
I think your right to be concerened about the length as there has been issues with the bolt pulling out of the threaded insert in the mount and stripping the thread, if the bolt is not long enough it could happen easier, all my opinion of course

Cheers Gaz, i think I will have to remove the old one and gauge it up, or ask the parts dept for help.

Is it any of these Dave?

Is the whole point of the replacement dogbone mount that its an uprated bolt?
the old one isn't up to much so i'd get the new one back in.

Steve you star, it is number 30. What does it say in the legend?

Well i removed the bolt, and replaced it with a bolt i had in the drawer. I had some M14 x 1.5 80mm long bolts in the garage. The bolt I fiited is not a stretch bolt, and I torqued it up to 100Nm + 90 degrees, as per the Maint manual (thanks T_T).
The original bolt in my opinion is not a stretch bolt, but it is definetly about 5-8mm too short, due to the extra thickness of the bush, and washer.
I think the bolt I used came from a suspension part (don't ask where, as i stripped them down a while ago)off the S3 hubs I bought.
Cheers for the help with the Etka Steve.
