Hi guys
My first new topic on here...
What is the best way of changing the puddle lights and what are the best bulbs to use?
i have the electric folding mirrors so dont want to bend the mirrors forwards and snap anything inside, do they just fold back without any issues or will i snap something?
Also can anyone recommend any led numberplate bulbs that dont bring up the error codes?
cheers :happy2:

you have to dismantle the whole mirror
move the mirror glass down as far as it will go on the motor
gently prise the glass away from getting behind the glass with a 45 degree trim tool (or a big screwdriver)
prise the plastic mirror cover off, from the front of the mirror housing
remove one torx screw at the far edge holding the base of the mirror on (dont remove the indicator lens)
bend the oval plastic surround from the two feet on the bottom of the mirror and remove
remove the torx now visible on the light assemble
gentle pry the light out with a trim tool from the nearest side to the door
reassembly reverse but make sure the lamp assemble has clicked in place and is not slightly stood off the case
i use a can friendly led wedge t10( the throws the occasional lamp out error )

move the mirror forward, then you will see a torx screw. take that out and it shoul slide out. then you can change the bulb
