Title: had my seat leon FR mapped :)
Post by: xander_leon on November 12, 2011, 02:25:29 am
hi

today after much debating with my self i finally decided to give myself an early xmas present and get my leon FR re-mapped
i chose a chap ive known a few years now from other car forums  to do it as i knew he would look after me :)

Danny is the owner of 2 company's based in Leicestershire in a place called Hinckley

1/ Htec Elite this is his parts and remapping arm
2/ Dynodaze is the /garage arm

today i went to Dynodaze

where Danny and his mechanic rich met me and explained how the hole process works after that we plugged a computer to the
car so it could read my ecu

  (https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fj136%2Fxanderyoyo%2Fad69aaf2.jpg&hash=1ad4d92e2c62eab2e5867b57450a04c3056e4400)

after it finished they put the car on the rollers to get a base power read out

(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fj136%2Fxanderyoyo%2F0c92cf14.jpg&hash=354fffac773ca5350d0783db443fbe49af7d8da3)

then the computer was plugged back in and this time it wrote a new map on the ecu

this took around 15 min then they did a power run

i was well pleased with the end results the bhp went from 208bhp to 244bhp and 281nm to 332nm

i had a great day and Danny and co were so welcoming and the customer care was and is second to none
