I agree.
Initially I had hoped they would follow the books but even though they don't they are excellent fillums and at £11.11 for all 3 on Blu-Ray an absolute bargain.  :happy2:

I read the books after I'd watched the trilogy on blu-ray. The first one was very good, the second was good and I could last more than a couple of pages into the third one. Very different stories but then they were set in a different era.

I read the books years ago. The 2nd one was particularly good as I read it while working in China.
