Iyah ppl . New to the forum . .  just bought 55 golf gti 5dr. Everything working brilliant apart frm wiper problem. When the car is on, the front and rear wipers come on and off as they please . The only way i can get them to stop is by turning off the ignition. Soon as the car is bak on, the wipers start playing up again . . Please help as you can imagine it is gettin very annoying.any advise appreciated. Thnx guyz

Hmmm does it have Auto wipers?? Possibly a fault with that if it does? :stupid:

could be a faulty rain sensor or wiper stalk or even the bonnet catch, altho that normally means they dont work if the catch is knackered
