Hi everyone I am going to be upgrading my clocks to the R32 Petrols ones.
I currently have midline clocks on my golf which is a GT TDI 170 DIESEL Mk5 on a 2007 07 plate
My old part number for the midline clocks is 1K0 920 964 B
My new part number for the highline clocks is 1K0 920 974 B
What I want to know is if I can swap the front circuit board out of the highline clocks and put it into the rear of the midline clocks and whether or not if it will work
I have read somewhere that this may be possible And if so should save the headache of having to code the keys clocks to the car.
Has anyone tried this or can give me some insight?
Many thanks

I tried it it does work in a sense that the car will start up but there is no data on the highline, its just a blank red screen :sad1:

What program can I use to read SKC code and to code clocks and keys and correct mileage?
Is there a DIY guide for coding the late cluster?
Many thanks
