Title: EVOMS Waste Gate Chatter

Hi

I had the EVOMS kit fitted this weekend, and it makes a great Darth Vadar impression as expected. However, i can't for the life of me get any of the waste gate chatter normally associated with such a device...

Any ideas why this is?

Do you have to have the Forge DV valve fitted?

How do i get these aural delights?

just to be really pedantic, waste gates dont chatter.  What you're wanting to hear is turbo stall  :happy2:

Is your car a manual or DSG?

That was the terminology used by others, so i did too....

It's a manual. Why aren't i hearing these delightful sounds?

Press the gas till you hear full boost, lift off the gas for a split second as the recirc valve recirculates the air, then press on again. "woooodododoooodooooooo" :grin:

May be a dumb question, but can this damage the turbo???

turbo stall kills turbos, thats what a DV is for??
