Hi guys,
Am interested from hearing from other members who are at same stage of tune as me with a Ko4.
I think am getting to the end of the road with mods to increase performance/handling with only neuspeed turbo discharge pipe and possibly twintercooler to go with my s3.
Are there any other little mods you have done which are a bit leftfield ie beyond the normal ones which you do to get to this stage of tune with Revo which you have found to be of use eg unibrace, forge actuator?

You probably had it done at the same time as other mods but did you notice any difference on power pulley? I will stick it on as an 'every little helps mod' next time cambelt is done, shouldve done it this time tbh.
Im at the same stage looking for any 'minor enhancements'

yeah i thought you were Mike.
On that list would be interested to see if power pulley made any difference, also I have WALK fitted so is that the super pro bushes you have fitted alongside the WALK as RR recommended as VWR said they should be upgraded also? At mo those bushes on mine are oem.
Thanks Flyboy

What the hell does the power pulley do?
Also, can anybody categorically tell me that the RS4 fuel valve makes any difference, as I've heard mixed stories?

Power pulley is a lightweight bottom pulley that is meant to require less energy/power from the engine to spin it, effectively drawing/wasting less power from your engine
Negligible difference I bet but something I'll do as an enhancement.

Steve at Statllers confirmed you cant get the maximum power out of Stg 2+ without the RS4 valve as it gives the HPFP more headroom to work, it is only a £30.00 part also - but PITA to fit I believe.

I ran a lightened flywheel on a formula ford single seater race car as an experiment. General consensus was that for every 1kg off the flywheel should equate to 15kg off the car weight. We tried a flywheel with 3.5 kg off. That should equate to a weight saving on accelerated mass of some 52kg on a 420kg car.
According the the data logging on the car it made no difference at all to acceleration performance.
Save your money.
