Am planning on changing my monza II's to 19" ASA AR1 rs race with red pinstripe, they come in different offsets etc but to me t looks like i should be taking the ET 45 but what tyre size would best suit it for comfort, performance and keeping n range of the original settings of the car,
heres the options i have
215/40/19
225/40/19
235/35/19
Does any one know?

I'm running 225,35,R19 Conti's and I'm lowered too and mine have never rubbed at all :happy2:
One thing though..... My wheels are 19x8j ET45 not 8.5j so that might make some difference!
There is a handy tyre/wheel calculator somewhere. I'll try n find it

Offset calculator as mentioned above - http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
The width of tyre required will depend on wheel width, I have 225 on 8J wheels and there is a noticeable difference in ride compared to the same tyre on a 7.5J wheel.
Personally, if the wheels you are looking at are 8.5J I would be wrapping them in 235/35's. You will probably need to consider clearance if the car is lowered on that size.

I've got 19x8.5j on my van and im using kumho KU39 in 235.35.19. I wouldnt want to go any narrower as they would be stretched. The lip on my wheels is already pretty exposed even with the 235.

I run 235/35's on mine (8j) and thers no rubbing, still bloody pricey though, 2 conti contact 3's just set me back £377 fitted.

Either 235 or 225/35/19
