I've just managed to source a brand new RNS315, which I will be fitting to my 07 plate Edition 30 to replace my RCD510.
I understand that every unit has Bluetooth integrated, but its deactivated, but can be enabled via VCDS. Can anyone confirm this please?
Also, does anyone know if I'll have any issues running this in my car please?
Thanks,
Russ.

I'm not sure it has? I have the 310 myself and I know I need an additional bluetooth module in order to get it working?
Thanks

Apparently it does have after doing some homework and possibly DAB too - need to get it hooked up to VCDS and find out I guess.

Watch this Video,
!
At 4:00 ish till about 4:45 he mentions about having the bluetooth module. Meaning an additional module will need to be purchased ;)

I saw that and it had me wondering, but then I found this:

Get someone local to you to have it Vag-Com'd? But translating some of the comments I get this
"This was up to present, however, possible yes but at new reinflation RNS315 radio the built in chipje are what looked here after omitted. Same money for the Skoda Amundsen+ radio this RNS315 systems have been simply converted for skoda and are now also provided without carkit function and these in the VW those are now provided."
Green background represents the Skoda units as picture on that link, red represents VW which isn't pictured, and reading the above I would they provide the VW without the carkit (bluetooth) don't hold me on this though!
Also this comment to
"Improve said after only select. The RNS315 where the number is finished on a D functions come expire"
So look at the part number, the revision is the letter on the end so thi will probably help you determine if so!
