Title: Wheels sealed - same old wash routine afterwards?
Post by: AndyED30 on November 20, 2011, 07:01:49 pm
I've just given my wheels x3 coats of poorboys plus one coat of Dodo PH.

Next time I wash the wheels can i carry on using an EZ brush/Bilberry and normal routine or will this break down the sealant?

I only dilute 1/10 for the Bilberry anyway so if I'm careful with the brush is this ok? I only ask because the wheels/arches/calipers etc took AGES and I'm not doing that again for a while  :signLOL:

Cheers, Andy.

If you've adequately sealed the wheels, then a simple rinse/powerrinse will be enough.

If you need to shift some more dirt, then use a wash mitt and shampoo.

Yes was about to say the same as Stealth, just the good old Power washer and a soft mitt should be more than enough!

As long as you don't leave it 3 months that is!

As above, power wash should help move alot of the brake dust
Use a brush to help agitate if it's not all moving...or even a very light mixture of wheel gel to aid the removal without damaging the wheel surface too much   :happy2:
