Arrived this afternoon, I've already got them hanging in the garage degreased, etched, and now in red high temp paint to match the rear OE ones. Lacquer tomorrow ready for fitting on Wednesday.
They are a Forge setup, 8 pots with a 356mm x 32mm 2 piece rotors, they only had one set produced (although i believe they are made by K sport) so these are the only Forge 8 pots that exist to my knowledge.
If anyones interested my 345mm S3 set up will be available from wednesday (for sale post to follow as soon as i have the pics of them off the car)

Ssshhhhh, i dont want to piss off potential S3 brake buyers by letting on how much i paid for them

Wait till you replace the disks. We won't be jealous then
-
Nice buy, heard you get a bit more pedal travel with these
-
Google is our friend :signLOL:
Did you seriously only pay that much for them?

I wouldnt like to say, but before buying them i did some research, and the pads that fit them suit some AP calipers, and the K sport 8 pots, having looked at the AP's they are cast, where as the K sport are billet like the ones i have. K-sport also do the same groove pattern as on these discs and in the same 356mm diameter.

True they arent cheap, but as they dont work as hard and are thicker material they tend to last a bit longer than the stockers (speaking from experience). These are like new, when i contacted forge they told me that they had covered less than 1000 miles on a demo car.

Forge said thats not the case as its one of the questions that i asked, i got the impression that the reason they went down the 6 pot route is that the 8 pots will only fit under 19's where as the 6 pots might fit under 18's.
-
Nice price you paid for those, was wondering how much and so had to check
-
Nice price, beat me by £30 haha! Tbh I'm not to fussed to about my brakes so thought I could justify that much but you won and still got them as a bloody bargain well done ;)
Will look nice, get some pictures now they are in red ;)

They look alot like the k sports I had on my evo.
The rotors and bells are exactly the same! If you want some serious pads in there look up carbontech xp8 pads, or xp10's if you fancy ripping your face off!!
I had my 8pot 356mm kit under 18" wheels aswell.

I may be right in saying that K Sport stuff doesnt have a dust seal so make sure you get them off and keep them uber clean once in the summer and twice in winter, piston corrosion will be your problem not disc replacement, the rotors look like AP items anyway, cant tell the PCD but they look like CP4542-106/107's
The brakes are cheap to buy but expensive to maintain (Like a HP Printer!)
At the price you paid I'd have bought them myself but ask yourself why Forge didnt continue with them.....I dont think the reason you mentioned isnt too valid really, you'll get any 6/8 pot on a 356mm disc inside an 18" theres no way you'll get them in without a wheel spacer in either case especially on a 32mm wide disc

Piston sizes look fairly good for an 8 pot should get a half decent pedal with these
