I thought i should put some decent pictures on here after my poor iphone attempt in my newbie thread :ashamed: Only had the car a week and absolutely  it, managed to give it a wash, clay, polish and wax on the weekend so it looks a hundred times better than when i picked it up. I need to get the front bumper resprayed to make it mint, i think its been caught on a kurb at some point. Hope you like it :happy2:

Looks great. Nice starting point. Let the modding begin! Stevie.
-
The idea was to keep this one standard, i did say that with my last car though. £4k later............
-
Nah no fun in that!
-
It's all about steel grey with xenons. ;)
Nice one Gaz, they are properly good cars arnt they!
-
I'm properly impressed with it  I love the way its so lazy to drive you can just totter around in top gear one minuite and the next you can get a serious shift on without any fuss. Its so easy to drive quickly. And the mpg isnt as bad as i was expecting either :happy2:
-
Smart indeed, fella! My fave colour  and you've got the important bits of the extra spec, Xenons & MFSW etc...
It makes the Fabia look tiny parked that closely!
-
love that :happy2:, bring backs memorys :sad1:
-
:congrats: remember seeing this advertised on pistonheads, just a shame that it wasnt DSG, as the spec is great!!!
:driver:

Thought i'd better update this, still in love with the beast. Had the bumper sprayed before xmas so its now pretty mint
Have already bought some bits for it, including a carbonio intake and panel filter

Looking good, did the mudflaps taking any modifying to fit.. are they standard VW ones?
-
Nope, straight fit. They are genuine ones for the normal GTI. I think they were £35 on ebay.
