Do not drill them as this weakens the disc.

Dont drill them yourself as they wont be balanced......

They should be done on a cnc programe..

The J hooks are only a few mm into the surface, I had DIY drilled discs previously and they warped.

DaveB does drilled discs properly. They have to be drilled so that the vanes are not compromised so you still retain 100% of the disc strength. Mine have been fine for nearly a year with a fair amount of hammer, the are just starting to lip now.

They're in for paint mate..... brembo sent -10's instead of -11's, its true Im backing up at the moment, website goes live next year believe it or not trying to organise 1400 products over 17 vehicles from Fabia VRS to Competition Gallardo discs.

Also working away a tonne at the mo which aint helping

to the OP PM me might be new year now, although you could buy some of China's finest from EBC - they should be ok if you're not tracking them.

Our discs are indeed done CNC the drill holes vent only into the vanes internally for each casting, we machine away the top face of a sample disc and plot them properly, you need to avoid the pillar vanes to avoid hot spots and cracking, we've just changed from SBS castings (47 Vane) to brembo (48 Vane) which meant a whole new plot. Bit of cracking around drill holes is still ok, if the cracks radiate to the edge or to another drill hole then chuck em

Oooohh we've not had a drilled vs grooved debate for ages hope this develops!
