Evening guys,
With Winter fast approaching, whats the best way to reduce/mitigate the amount of stone chips that I'm liable to pick up? Cars currently a rising blue scirocco and it already seems pretty susceptible to chipping. Ideally I wouldn't want to run a bra or film so any suggestions are much appreciated.

Dont drive too close to the vehicle in front :happy2:

Not sure what else. There's no product that's bulletproof. Stone chips are caused by stones being forced against the paintwork at speed, so a barrier is going to be your best bet (eg bra, film). No sealant/wax etc is going to stop stone chips.

The best option would be to have a protective paint film applied to the bumper, arches, bonnet
This will protect from the majority of chips and a few years down the line you can just replace the film
However I have found that the film depending on quality does start to loose it's clarity and go a bit murky/yellow over time
Hope this helps :happy2:
