ED30 is close to needing a service.
Really want to try Votex out but that would mean taking a day off work that I cant really afford to do at the moment. So wondering what peoples thoughts about VW Chesterfield and Derby were. Used to use Guilders for my Corrado and they were ok but then the tech left that I used and it went downhill.
Cheers

I used to take mine to VW @ Pride Park Derby but fell out with them - never seemed to want to help me sort out warrenty work, damaged my car when cleaning it and made me wait for hours unnecessarily the last time i went. Thats just my experiance with them, could be a one off but i wont be going back there.
So i now end up taking mine to VW Arnold notts
A work collegue of mine always uses a comnpany called Volks Tech @ Dronfield who he highly recommends www.volks-tek.co.uk (http://www.volks-tek.co.uk) They usually pick his car up or drop him off at or Dronfield Office.
:happy2:

Cheers for that Volk Tek look good.
Erring slightly on a day off now to go to Votex and grab a free Revo trial for the run back through the Peak...

I go a bit futher and use TL Darby VW dealer in Burton on trent, Cant fault them for the work they have done on my my car, and very often win the yearly VW customer service award.

Have you thought about the newer Gilder down Dronfield bypass? Took mine there for cambelt and water pump and was more than satisfied with the level of service.

This is good to hear as this is my local now. First time I've used VW for servicing and always wary of any garage but didn't have any trouble. The true test will be to see how they handle the old TDi injector issue when I finally ring VWCS.
