Title: suspension question..mk5 gt

Hi...anyway of making my mk 5 gt suspension softer..just feel its a bit harsh, vibraty, feel every bump on the road.   Or this is just how it is..thanks all..chris.

That doesn't sound right!. Even the GTI, has as standard, a pretty comfortable and refined drive. It sounds like you have a problem of sorts, maybe the shocks and springs have seen better days.

hi..well i took it for a test drive with a tech at vw last week..he said it all seemed normal to him.

How old is the car / mileage?

only about 33000 mls and 2008 model.

Have you had a look at them your self? Do they look overly corroded or are leaking? I have a GT aswell and find the suspension very comfortable even with lowering it!

not looked in recent times, will have a look once the rain goes off..
