Title: Powder coating in SE Kent

As per the title, looking to get my S3 calipers powder coated, can anyone recommend somewhere in South East Kent?   Alternatively somewhere that will do a send and return that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

I'd be surprised, as I thought they acid dipped wheels, refurbed and then painted. Never seen or heard of them dealing in anything other than wheels

I may have a contact for you Pagey - just need to make a call. IIRC, they were approx £70 per caliper...

Thanks for the offer Gareth, but I have found a couple in Thanet who have quoted around £50 for both fronts!

Bargain - any chance you could share their details please? I will hopefully soon have a set of 345mm brakes that will need to be p/c in a decent red...  :happy2:

The first quote was from these - http://eastkentcoatings.com/ - they have a minimum charge of £50, but said that should cover it.

These - http://www.windridge.co.uk/content.php/000 - have quoted £25 per side + VAT, but I think I can negotiate a better price when they actually see the calipers.  I am also waiting to hear back from these - http://www.pioneer-welding.co.uk/.  I will let you know the outcome mate.  :happy2:

I'm a bit torn now, as Nobafett (Briskodian) has a mate who will do them for 30 quid, I know he is more than happy with his ones, and it will cost under £15 to send and return the calipers to him.  Not that I have ever had a problem, but I just know that they will get lost in the post.........  :sick:
Either way I will post a report with some juicy pictures!  :wink:
