Faulty diverter  valve I bet. I'd put money on it if you definitely installed the software correctly.

Going from stock to stage1 you should be able to tell the difference for sure.

Yep. I have the GTI myself and have the Bluefin stage 1. I had the same issue though and it felt very little, if not no different at all and the DV is a known weak point. Had it replaced with the VW revision D for about £50 and as soon as I got in it again I knew I'd solved it. Theres no mistaking the difference if you ask me so if you can't notice it something is wrong somewhere and the DV is probably the best place to start.

Might be worth asking a member on the Vagcom thread to have a butchers first if your feeling frugal mate. That might highlight any faults -

Have a search for the guide on here as it can be a bit of an arse to change if your gonna do it yourself unless your tooled up etc.

Yup block 115 (requested vs actual boost).  As you're there also log block 106 for fuel rail pressure.
Scan the car for fault codes before you log it.

Is there any value in changing the DV on cars which do NOT have a remapped ECU?

How do you guys rate the BF? Tempted buy one as Revo is just so far away! Can you load the standard map back on at any time then the remap back on as much as you want?

I would say yes, or check it at the very least. It could be knackered and you just don't know until you get a map and realize something is wrong.

When you get the BF the device copies your existing map and downloads it to Superchips via the web/pc and the new map then gets downloaded back onto the BF a short time later. Meaning the device only holds your new map. However your old map is stored at Superchips I believe and you can request this at your pleasure. It would mean doing the whole process again though and a bit of a ball ache.
The REVO select has the ability to do what you are asking with ease but its a bit more money.

Not the same as Bluefin. All Revo do is turn the map down to stock values where as the Blufin handset loads the original map back on.

Bluefin is on offer at jkm till 31st December for £372 delivered.
As listed previous bluefin loads your original map back on and revo reverts back to a revo stock map.
