Title: Triangle bracket in the boot

Hi all, my car was missing the bracket in the boot for the first aid and triangle, picked one up from a breakers yesterday but it's just a rubber strap whereas I am sure on the Gti it's a bracket thing, can anyone confirm at all please?

Yeah on mine it's a hard plastic bracket :happy2:

Rubber strap on GT 07 and plastic bracket on GTI 08(gone but not forgotten)

So it's just the rubber straps in their own without a bracket? Do they just come through slots cut in the carpet? Mine doesn't have these slots which is why I was confused :)

I also had the hard plastic bracket on my 56 plate GTI  :confused:

Hard plastic bracket for warning triangle.
Nylon webbing strap with buckle for first aid kit.
