Hey guys, i am considering doing something to improve my braking now that my ed30 is on stage two. My local revo dealer suggested changing to hel brake cables and dp2500 pads to make a cheap but noticeable improvement. This would ads somewhere around 225 fitted. But I've also seen some cupra brakes for 400 and some r32 for 550 on hear, any advise would be great

Many people have done the S3/R32/Cupra brake upgrade and give good reviews other than the brakes being a bit heavy.
Another option and one i have just gone for is the NQSBBK supplied by DaveB (serach for the kit in MK5 general area) its made up of porsche boxster calipers with the standard GTI discs and has been given great reviews my many on here.
