Hi Guys,
I'm interested in getting a Hybrid Turbo for my Ed30. Where would be the best place to get one? As I want to go down the Hybrid route would it just be a case of changing the Turbo or would I need to change any of my internals
Thanks in advance, Guys :happy2:
Phil

Turbo dynamics do a hybrid which they say is good for 380-400bhp which tbh isn't alot better than the standard K04!
If you was going down that route I'd just go for a GT30 and Revo Stage 3.

OK. I don't really want to be changing internals and stuff otherwise, I would have gone for the GT30 :sad1:

Go on phil do the internals aswell u know u wana

You don't NEED internals although it's probably recommended. JohnnyC ran a 30 on his ED30 for a bit didnt he?

Hhmmmmm! What internals would need to be changed if I got a GT30 then?

Your a bad influence, D . Where would be the best place to buy a GT30? And, if I did get one what are the important Internals to change?
-
On the Revo site they don't actually say anything about uprated internals, just clutch, RS4 injectors etc...
I've heard of a couple of people running GT30's on standard engines. Probably around 480bhp.
As for internals, I don't know what the rods are rated too power/torque wise. Something to look into though, an Edition 30 with DSG and a GT30 would be MENTAL!

speak to Steve at Statllers or Kev at Revo.. if your just going hybrid (eg ko4 with porsche cayenne internals) you dont need to change rods etc
