Right this is abit of a strange one so if im being dumb feel free to shout and swear at me :ashamed:
Came back to my car after work last week and saw my drivers window was open about 3-4 inch then noticed passenger one was open the same. Knew i hadn’t had the windows open that morning so thought this was odd! Thought nothing of it until i went shopping with the missus on Sunday only to return to the car and both windows open 3-4 inches again :s.
Is there any way the windows will open with the remote without holding down the buttons ie pressing one button twice or something? I’m not actually holding down any of the buttons just press the lock button a couple of times and walk off. Its getting a bit worrying as people can easily get their hands in the car while the windows are down

hum, i heard of this before on another forum... i think it was a dealer fix...
-
I have heard of it too, think new window motor sorted the issue, is it still under warranty
-
Yup its a know bug. I would think even if its out of warranty it should be sorted FOC.
-
Cheers people, yes its still under warranty so will get this sorted asap

Hey
Its a simple fix....
The dealer needs to update the CCM computers software... CCM= Central conveniance module.
It controls windows, central locking and has issues... The software is German but the parts are American and they clash with each other.
The dealer will have the car for an hour and it will cost you nothing. They will update the software and thats it.
If you have the highline computer then you just need to set everything up again (or ask them to do it).. For example you will need to switch on the auto close feature, child safety feature... If you dont have the highline comp then insist they set it up using VAG Com.
I hope this helps.
