Had a little bit come down on Sunday morning and a tiny little bit to give just a tiny covering over night.

We got about 2-3 inches overnight in central Scotland. :fighting:

We had a light dusting this morning that never even settled, thank god. My BM is shaking in the garage in it's summer boots as I type.. :scared: :grin:

I remember earlier this year I was up in manchester visiting relatives/friends and they had pretty good snow and the main road into town includes driving up a pretty steep hill with 6 inches of snow covering it, anyway I came round the corner to find a queue of traffic behind a BMW Z4 sliding all over the place with a woman with white eyes at the wheel, I just stuck it in 3rd at 2k rpm and overtook them all :happy2:, all I could see in my rear view was her sideways with lots of FWD cars overtaking her.
When i came back 3 hours later the Z4 was abandoned at the side of the road :surprised:
I remember about 3 years back coming out of my house to find almost 18 inches of snow had fallen overnight (used to live on a big hill on the pennines), was digging my car out (MK4 GTI)when a chap in a Range rover pulled up at side of me and said "Good luck getting to work in that!", :stupid: I said im sure I will be fine and off he went (I digging away chunnering away to myself saying "Arrogant Pr%ck"), about 20 minutes later car dug out and warmed up and de-iced I set off carefully down the hill (about half mile long steep downhill), just as i came round the little bend near the bottom guess who has stoved into the back of a parked car near the bottom (T-Junction) :grin: I took great pleasure stopping and asking him if he needed a lift to work :P obviosuly he declined with some choice words! :drinking:

Had a bit of snow up here,then the town I live in comes like a traffic jam as they can't drive in 2mm of snow :signLOL:

We had some overnight and the woodhead and snake pass was closed this morning

Ha ha, people in Norfolk cant drive in 2mm snow either, I came out of tescos once when it was snowing to find about 40 women stood in the foyer all ringing husbands and boyfriends to come get them as they could not drive in snow, I was thinking "are u bein serious?, its 2mm of snow!!" :grin:
Woodhead is usually one of the 1st to close I drive that road when going back to see family, the amount of time I see the familiar flashing orange lights "SNOW ROAD CLOSED" signs lit up meaning from holmfirth to Greenfield rather than taking 15 mins takes 40 mins grrr..

We had about an inch this morning and really bad ice, Winter Kumho's managed it no bother!

My ED30 will likely only see snow when me and 2 mates drive to Ischgl in the Austrian Alps in February, hoping to get it re-mapped to at least stage 1 before then :happy2:

I hope you've got some winter tyres, you are going to need some for Austria, also you'll need snow chains. Don't get caught out :driver:

Never mind the snow, you litterally cannot stand on the road outside ours this morning, black ice all over the shop and cars, vans, 4x4's and tractors sliding everywhere. Quite entertaining stuff just hope nobody gets hurt. :scared:

Yes its only just really started snowing this week in Ischgl...... hope it gets better for you.... apparantly 60% of the ski resorts are not open yet due to the lack of snow.... :confused:

There was a little bit of snow this morning in Burntwood, I got quite excited....until I realised I was 50 miles from home!

Saw a bit of snow yesterday, but more worrying was the packed black ice on the roads around here today. I live in a very hilly area and at one brief point lost all control rolling downhill on my mates street.
He was laughing his head off at everyone doing it until it happened in his Disco with chunky M+S tyres also, when he put a rope around a transit that was sliding towards a parked car.
